School Clubs

Clubs - Spring Term 2020

All clubs will commence the week beginning Monday 20^th January and will finish on Friday 27^th March (excluding February half term) unless otherwise notified. FOOTBALL CLUB WILL COMMENCE A WEEK EARLY, SO WILL COMMENCE ON 13^TH JANUARY AND WILL BE THE SAME CHILDREN AS LAST TERM. DANCE CLUB BEGINS THIS WEEK AFTER SCHOOL. However, if your child DOES NOT wish to continue attending a club, please let the person who runs the club know. In the case of Cooking Club, please can you give more than a days’ notice, as obviously ingredients are purchased to provide for the number of children attending the club.

To ensure the safety of children attending clubs, I would like to remind you of the need for club organisers to be notified in advance (preferably 24 hours beforehand) if your child cannot attend a session for any reason (unless they are absent from school) and for children to be collected on time.

Our school policy states that pupils who miss a session with no reasonable explanation will not be able to attend further sessions. A copy of the school’s Extra Curricular policy is available on the parents’ notice board. Please note that clubs run by staff are subject to cancellation due to work commitments and/or inclement weather.

Those parents who have signed up for our text messaging service will be informed immediately of any changes; parents who have not signed up should check the blackboard and will be informed by telephone if necessary.
